Dean McPhail (CEO)
Dean McPhail is the CEO of JJC Hawaii, LLC , which owns and operates Jamba Juice stores in Hawaii. JJC Hawaii, LLC currently owns and operates 32 Jamba Juice stores in Hawaii (Oahu, Maui, Big Island and Kauai).
In addition to Jamba Juice, McPhail is also president of Restaurant Partners Hawaii which owns and operates P.F. Chang‚s China Bistro in the state of Hawaii. The first restaurant opened on September 12, 2006 and the second P.F. Chang‚s in Hawaii opened on March 31, 2008.
For the past 10 years, McPhail was the president of Coffee Partners Hawaii, the exclusive licensee of Starbucks Coffee stores in Hawaii. In January 2006, Coffee Partners Hawaii sold its 95% interest to Starbucks Coffee Company.
Prior to establishing Coffee Partners Hawaii in August 1996, McPhail was the president and CEO of Pacific Video Entertainment Corp. (PVEC), the Blockbuster Video franchisee in Hawaii and Guam which was sold to Blockbuster Entertainment Group in March 1996. From December 1988 until its sale, PVEC developed, owned and operated 16 Blockbuster Video stores in Hawaii and 2 in Guam and was consistently recognized as achieving the highest volumes and having the best operated franchise stores in Blockbuster‚s national franchise community.
Before relocating to Hawaii to develop Blockbuster Video stores, McPhail was involved in the management of fine dining restaurants in South Florida. He worked with the C.A. Muer Corp. in several locations including Palm Beach, Sarasota and on the opening team at their location in Ft. Lauderdale. Dean holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Regis College in Denver, Colorado.
Greg Meier (President)
Greg Meier is President of JJC Hawaii, LLC and is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations. Meier has worked closely with Dean McPhail in the development of Starbucks Coffee (Coffee Partners Hawaii), Jamba Juice and P.F. Chang‚s China Bistro in Hawaii.
Prior to Coffee Partners Hawaii in 1996, Meier was the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Pacific Video Entertainment Corp. He joined PVEC in April 1994 after spending over 8 years in the audit division of Arthur Andersen & Co. in their San Francisco, Orange County and Hawaii offices, leaving the firm as a Senior Audit Manager.
Meier holds a degree in Business/Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the states of Hawaii and California and is a member of the AICPA, Hawaii Society of CPA‚s and the California Society of CPA‚s.
Greg serves as a director on the board of the Red Cross, Hawaii Chapter, P&C Insurance, a captive insurance company for Kamehameha Schools and is on the board of and Prevent Child Abuse Hawaii. He was also involved with the Aloha United Way, serving as an Allocations Panel Member.
Scott McPhail
(Sr. Vice President)
Scott McPhail is the Vice President of Operations, overseeing day-to-day operations of Jamba Juice .
Prior to Jamba Juice, McPhail was the Director of Operations for Starbucks Coffee Hawaii and Pacific Video Entertainment Corp (Blockbuster Video Hawaii).
Before he joined PVEC in June 1989, Scott resided in Aspen, Colorado where he worked with the Snowmass Lodge and Club as a manager of their hotel. McPhail is a graduate of Ithica College where he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. He is also a Board member for the Aloha Stac, a computer learning center for children with learning disabilities.
Lianne Myers is the chief financial officer and is responsible for finance support of the company’s Hawaii operations. Prior to joining the Company in 1998, Lianne worked for five years in the audit division of Arthur Andersen LLP’s Honolulu office.
Lianne holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration (Accounting) from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Hawaii and member of the AICPA and Hawaii Society of CPA’s. She is a member of Finance Executives International and served on their board in 2006.
Sherri Rigg (Marketing Director)
Sherri Rigg is the marketing director for Jamba Juice and P.F. Chang’s China Bistro in Hawaii (JJC Hawaii, LLC and PFC Hawaii, LLC). She oversees the marketing responsibilities for both companies, including brand strategy, advertising, public relations, promotions, event marketing, grand openings and corporate social responsibility.
She joined Coffee Partners Hawaii in July 1996 and launched the Starbucks Coffee brand in Hawaii, with the opening of the first Starbucks Coffee store at Kahala Mall in December 1996. In 1999, she assumed marketing responsibilities Jamba Juice Hawaii and introduced the brand to Hawaii. In 2006, she provided marketing strategy and execution of the opening of the first P.F. Chang’s China Bistro restaurant in Hawaii.
Prior to joining the Restaurant Partners Hawaii team, she was an account supervisor at Peck Sims Mueller Advertising, handling several of Honolulu’s top accounts including Blockbuster Video, Prince Resorts, Davidoff of Geneva, Hawaiian Regent Hotel and Kona Village Resort.
She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications / Public Relations from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. She currently volunteers with the Kau Kau Wagon, a homeless outreach program, volunteers at La Pietra Children’s Fair and the Diamond Head Theatre costume shop.
